See if nine is on the ftp site (ftp.corel.com) Corel no longer supplies the updates for X3. I called a few months back to request it, and I was sent to the ftp site for X5. Call me bitter, but I can't help thinking this is a way to push users to buy the updated version. Apropos x3 and W7, on one of my desktops I am now receiving the 216 error. (Not a virus, no matter what the various help sites say).

Note to Hendrix: You and may others are in the same boat. I have found a few programs which claim to be able to extract object as well as text data, but none have succeeded.
